2600 Crossfit classes. Designed for all body types, all fitness levels, and all ages.
CrossFit is a lifestyle characterized by safe, effective exercise and sound nutrition. CrossFit can be used to accomplish any goal, from improved health to weight loss to better performance. The program works for everyone — people who are just starting out and people who have trained for years. The magic is in the movement. CrossFit workouts are different every day and can be modified to help each athlete achieve their goals. The workouts may be adapted for people at any age and level of fitness.
Crossfit Classes
Group classes for people who CrossFit primarily for health and fitness, this class is for the majority of our members and follows the introductory Basic Classes. The class is one hour and involves all the elements of functional movement that make up CrossFit training, all scaled to suit your level of fitness and ability. The focus is on a fun workout whilst constantly learning new skills. Classes run Monday to Saturday but we advise a three days on, one day off or two days on and one day off program – it is important to rest and recover between workouts to get the most benefit from your training.
The class WOD (workout of the day) is posted daily, but don’t use the WOD to choose your training days, keep to a training schedule and do what comes up, you will see vast improvements in your fitness in your fitness this way. If you want to add to your training, join the Olympic Lifting Classe or for if you’re short on time jump in an Express Class.
Basic Classes
CrossFit 2600 is committed to improving our members’ potential through top class coaching. To ensure more people get the benefit of our expertise we run Basics Classes as an introduction to CrossFit. Basics Classes are open to new members of the gym and will incorporate all the skills needed to tackle group classes with confidence.
As well as skills it will include a short WOD (workout of the day) to try out what you have learned that day and reinforce technique in a training environment.
The classes run twice a week and new Team 2600 members will need to attend a Monday and a Wednesday session to ensure you have all the skills and experience necessary to join our daily WODs. The Basic Classes are both at 6:30pm, after this you can choose any time that suits you.
Olympic Lifting Classes
The class focuses on training and improving the mechanics and technique of the Olympic lifts; the Snatch, and Clean and Jerk. Olympic Lifting Classes are suitable for all levels of experience from beginner to advanced. Tuesday 5:15pm (30 minutes).
Express Classes
For those wanting to do CrossFit but not the technical weightlifting … or for those of you struggling to find the time to get in, this class is for you. A shorter (30 minute) bodyweight-based class which still has the intensity to get you into peak condition in no time at all. This is a super fun and efficient way of improving your fitness and still be a part of our awesome CrossFit community.

Our personal trainers have a wealth of knowledge and experience. They provide the basis for personal development in all aspects of health and fitness during one-on-one sessions. Our trainers specialise in weight loss, body composition, ante natal/post natal exercise, injury pre/rehabilitation, sport specific training, lifestyle management, health and orthopaedic issues. We are experts in helping those who are new to exercise start the journey towards a better life, we offer support and structure and hold you accountable to ensure success. Our personal training isn’t exclusively for those starting out; if you want to take your fitness to the next level or want specific weakness training we have fantastic coaches who will work with you to help you to achieve your goals.
